Day Schooling

We offer Day Schooling to students. Day Schooling students gain enriching experiences at the school and maintain strong relationships with their parents at home as well. Day schooling allows kids to build stronger ties with existing friends while making new ones. Students here get more time with their families throughout the year. Parents also get to play a hands-on role in helping with homework and projects and shaping the characters of the students. Day schooling allows parents to provide continuous feedback to their wards as they pass through adolescence.

Weekday Boarding

Jyotirmoy Public School is the first CBSE affiliated school in south Kolkata to provide Weekday Boarding. The students spend 5 days a week on the school campus and the weekends at home. In this day and age, most parents are working and are unable to devote the necessary time for their children which results in hampered studies and missed homework. Double Shift Classes

A double shift is believed to be a way of saving resources and providing students’ flexibility. In double shifts, students either attend classes in the morning or in the afternoon. At present, the School is planning to allow the students of pre-nursery, nursery and prep to attend double shifts. The school plans to extend the option to the higher classes in the days to come.

In a double shift, two different groups report to school at two different times that incorporate remediation, guidance and extracurricular activities into each session every day. Double shifts help in reducing the class size, so each student gets proper attention from the teachers.
