JPS students sparkle at Kabaddi tournament inauguration

The Subrata Mukherjee Memorial Invitation State Kabaddi Championship for Men & Women couldn’t have asked for a better opening. The cynosure of all eyes, the students of Jyotirmoy Public School lent a rousing start to the tournament with an unforgettable dance performance at the inaugural ceremony on Thursday. So impressed were people with their exuberance at the Maidan Tent of the West Bengal State Kabaddi unit that even Arjuna awardees Monica Nath, Rama Sarkar, and Biswajeet Palit took time out to be with them. Ms. Nath had an exclusive interaction with them. “We are the women, and we have the power that nobody can defeat,” she said to the students who shared memorable moments with her.
