Jyotirmoy Public School was a privileged part of an offline workshop for Nurturing Young Women in STEM( Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) Education – A roadmap of digital transformation organised bY B.D.M International School in association with American Centre Kolkata by engaging students with American Makerspace Kits .
A group of eight students from Class XI including Adrija Chowdhury, Anisha Shaikh, Prachi Saha, Ritusree Nandi, Sekh Tania, Sonali Kumari, Subhamita Dey and Sudeepto Bandyopadhyay was mentored by Anupam Saha, PGT Physics. They indulged in an interdisciplinary interactive learning by assembling cubelets using SDT to make a working robo car for preventing accidents which is commonly seen in differently abled people and pets to make transportations systems safer in the near future. We wish all the “Superwomen” a very bright future so that they are able to foster changes to bring about a welfare in the society.
