Present Perfect
The Jyotirmoy Public School scored a Perfect Ten today with the final examinations for Classes VI, VII, VIII and onwards on the school premises. It was heartening to see an almost full-house of Class VI and Class VII students returning to classrooms to write their first offline examinations in two years. The turnout for Class VI was 95 per cent and for Class VII, it was 97 per cent. The happiness these students and their parents derived out of the fact that finally they were able to return to school after such a long break due to Covid restrictions was writ large on their faces. Students who were absent today had already informed the school of the reasons why they would not be able to make it to the examinations. “We would be making alternative arrangements for such students,” Mr. Sushant Das, Principal, Jyotirmoy Public School, said. While conducting the examinations, the school authorities left no stone unturned to ensure that the Covid protocols were adhered to.
