Dear Parent,

Warm Greetings!

“Many activities and team play participation, will give you a training that will prove invaluable later on in life- Walter Annenberg”

In today’s world being good only in academics is not the only key to success. A child should have life skills in order to be successful in her/ his post school days. Life Skills are not learnt through books, but are experienced through participating in different activities of interest.

In order to develop various skills among our school children, it is decided to introduce Extra Curricular Activities (ECA for classes I to VIII) and Clubs (for classes V to VIII) in school (within regular school timings) along with the regular Co -Curricular Activities (CCA). We expect that a student must choose the activity of her/ his choice and continue to participate in it for one academic session. Once the choice is made she/ he can only change in the next academic session.

The details of the Activities under ECA are given below, please tick your choice and submit the form to the respective class teacher/ office within 7th May 2019. The activities will start from the week of reopening after the summer vacation (14th June 2019 onwards) and will continue till the Month of January 2020. Also, note that as informed in the Annual Parent Meet, in case of certain ECA or Clubs, expert Coaches/ Trainers from outside school will be hired and students will be required to pay nominal fee in order to enroll themselves with the activity.

Dear Parent,

Of _____________________________ Class ______ Sec____

Warm Greetings!

It is observed that Parents find it inconvenient to always come to school for fee payment or send the same through students, which is not safe. It is therefore decided, that the Transport Fee will be collected through ECS (Electronic Clearing Service) obtained with AXIS Bank, Sonarpur Branch with effect from December 2018. In this regard the following points need to be clearly understood by all:

  1. Through this system your account will be auto debited with the Transport Fee on 08th of each month without any late fine.
  2. If the first transaction declines due to insufficient balance or any other reason, then your account will be debited after 7 (seven) days – on 15th of the same month but with a late fine along with ECS Dishounour charge of Rs. 200 /-, and further delays will result in cumulative late fines at the same rate per month.
  3. Also, note that in case Transport Fee is due for more than a month, Transport Facility may be withdrawn for defaulter students.
  4. The following will be required for enrolling into the system:
    1. Debit Mandate Form (attached with this notice) is to be filled and dully signed (in the same manner as it is in the Account from which auto debit will be activated) by the guardian and submitted in person (for verification) to the transport office within 10th November 2018.
    2. One Cancelled Cheque with Signature of the same account from which auto debit will be activated for ECS clearing to be submitted along with the Debit Mandate Form.
  5. You are requested to pay the dues if any (your present transport fee due till Nov. 2018 is Rs. _________/-, kindly ignore if paid) of previous months to the transport department within 10/11/2018, or else dues will be deducted through ECS Mandate on 08/12/2018.
  6. To avail the Transport facility, it is mandatory to have the ECS system or else you will be required to clear all dues and fees up to March 2019 at one time within 15/11/2018. Also, for the Academic Session 2019-20, you will be required to clear the Annual Transport Fee within 31/03/2019.
  7. For further details please contact the JEWF Transport Incharge, Mr. Shubhankar Paul (Ph. No.: 9143109245) or School Office.

We look forward to your support in implementing the hassle free fee payment system.

Dear Parent,

Warm Greetings!

As we have begun a new session 2018-19 and we look back at our journey, we can only be thankful to you for bestowing your trust on us and giving us such an important responsibility of shaping your child’s future. We could not have reached where we stand today without your constant support and the way you stood beside us is something we cherish.

Our School being situated in the semi-rural area of Tematha, Sonarpur, we are committed to provide English medium education to all at an affordable fee. Unlike other Schools we want to take up the responsibility and walk that extra mile to provide guidance and help to the students to perform better. It takes extra time than what is presently being utilized for all subjects.

Also, as per the new CBSE Circular no : Acad-10/2018, Dated : 21.03.2018, which states that every CBSE Affiliated School must arrange for one Physical Education class each day. Thus, we are compelled to come to the decision that the School hours from 11.06.2018 will be from 8:10 am to 4:00 pm daily where we can accommodate the regular Physical Education class without compromising with the Academic subjects. This will also allow students to complete all assignments in School under the supervision of regular teachers and giving them time only for self study at home and not to engage in any extra coaching/ tuition classes.

We wish to take the complete responsibility of the students’ academics and co-scholastics without charging any extra fees.

A meeting has been arranged on 28th April, 2018 (Saturday) in school to understand the scheme of studies and evaluation. Timings are as follows:

CLASS TIME
V to VII 8:30 am – 9:30 am
VIII to XII 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Attendance to the above mentioned meeting is mandatory.

We look forward to your trust and wish to witness success together in the years to come.

We take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude for bestowing us with the responsibility to groom your child in her/ his formative years. At JPS we are constantly driven with the desire to devote ourselves for the all round development of each individual student. In this effort, to give our students of Classes I to IV more space to have their daily activities well coordinated and effectively executed, it is decided to shift the classes (I to IV) to JSE building within the same campus of Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park. We assure you that we will be taking all precautionary measures to ensure their safety and security in the building. CCTV cameras are already installed in all open spaces of the floor to be used and the floor will be manned by sufficient teachers and non teaching staff. Students availing the school bus will be dropped and picked from in front of the building itself. Parents too will be able to drop or receive their child from in front of the building.

Dear Parent,

Warm Greetings!

It is our earnest desire to groom our students into well informed and conscious citizens who are aware of current events in their city and abreast with news and happening in the world. With this end in view we are happy to inform you that The Telegraph Young Metro is being compulsory for Classes III-XII to improve general knowledge and awareness. Facing interviews for college admissions and handling group discussions with confidence at a later stage in our students’ lives demands a level of awareness that we hope will be facilitated with extra reading being made compulsory.

Young Metro is from the house of ABP and is a stand-alone daily newspaper (Monday to Friday) exclusively for students. The contents of this paper comprises school news, study help lines, personality development sections, celebrity interviews, ways to improve the English language, creative writing, drawings, paintings, cartoons, etc.

The subscription charge of Young Metro is Rs. 180/- where the newspaper shall be delivered to school.

Benefits to the students:

  1. Nicco Park / BITM / discount vouchers.
  2. It can also help students to collect material and ideas for class projects.
  3. It will initiate reading habits among students.
  4. Students can participate in various events of Young Metro thus getting a stage to showcase their talent and also develop confidence for public speaking.

Kindly pay Rs. 180/- to the respective class teacher by 18th of April, 2018

Regards,

Sushant Das
