Winning 3 Gold medals

Kanishka Banerjee, student of class VIIIB in Jyotirmoy Public School won 3 gold medals in East India Shotokan Karate-Do Championship 2019 organized by SSKAWB(Shotokan School Karate-Do Association of West Bengal). She won the golds in Black belt in KATA, Black belt in KUMITE and Below 14 yrs in KATA. We wish her good luck for all her future endeavours.

Winners of Presentation Competition

The students of JPS participated in the National Seminar on Celebration of the International Year of the Periodic table organized by Department of Chemistry, Jadavpur University on 13th August and secured the first position in delivering a presentation at the event. We congratulate all the students who participated and the teachers who assisted them.

Achievement of Staff

Sanyasi Naskar, a Group D staff of JPS has made everyone proud as he has secured the first position in the 17th Inter Distrit Football Championship of the Deaf organized by West Bengal Sports Association of the Deaf held at Farakka Barrage Project Football Ground, Farakka on 6th and 7th July, 2019.

Inter School Fest

The students of Jyotirmoy Public School yet again made everyone proud as they performed exceptionally well in an Inter School Fest organized by one of the City based Schools. Partha Ganguly, a student of Class XII (Commerce) was the winner in the event “Bird’s Eye”(Photography), Muskan Khatun, student of Class IX secured the position of the First Runner Up in “Battle Cry” (Slogan Writing), Pratyay Halder, student of Class XI (Arts) and Ankita Mondal of Class XI (Science) were the First Runner Up in “Splash” (Face Painting) and Sagnik Basu of Class XI (Science) and Arpan Roy of Class XI (Science) were Second Runner Up in “Bytes.Com” (Programming).

Of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports), IOA (Indian Olympic Association) and World Karate Federation (WKF), & Asian Karate Federation (AKF) from 20th April,2018 to 22nd April,2018.

Globalized Education Forum 2018

On 29th of September, 2018, Saturday, Indian Chamber of Commerce organized ‘GEF 2018’; Globalized Education Forum at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event was Co-Sponsored by Saraswati The theme of the Forum was Globalized Education - Higher Education with Internationalization & its value addition to create future ready Human Resource. The event witnessed participation from Government Regulators Ministry of education, Vice Chancellors, senior administrators and eminent personalities from premier institutes all across India. The summit was chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Kolkata. Dr.Partha Sarathi Ganguli, Chief; President –Jyotirmoy Education & Welfare foundation was one of the Special Guests for the event. Dr.Ganguli addressed the august gathering on the theme of the summit in the inaugural session and also chaired a very interesting session themed “Paradigm shift from Teacher Centric to Learner Centric system.

Harmonics 2018

The students of Jyotirmoy Public School participated in "Harmonics 2018" organized by the Hartley School on 17.07.2018 at Ahindra Manch. An International Conference for Teachers (ICFT) was organized by Jyotirmoy School of Education under the aegis of The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) along with South China Normal University, P.R. China on 8th and 9th April, 2017for the third consecutive year.As we all are a witness of a fast ever changing world that is turning into a global village, we all are very much aware of this phenomenon called Globalisation which has immensely affected all spheres of life surpassing boundaries. Keeping this on mind on 8th and 9th April, 2017 had called conference on “Administration and Management of Educational Institutions in the Global Perspective”.

64th West Bengal State School Games 2018 (Kabaddi under 19years)

Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park was the venue partner for the 64th West Bengal State School Games (Kabaddi Under 19 years Boys and Girls) in the presence of many distinguished dignitaries who graced the opening ceremony and closing ceremony and inspired the players. After 3 days of tournament, Hooghly was declared as the Girls' under 19 winners and 1st runners up were South 24 parganas. Boys' under 19 winners were Malda and 1st runners up were Murshidabad.

Concord 1.0 a Sino-Indian Cultural Exchange Meet - 2016

Jyotirmoy Public School, Sonarpur organized Concord 1.0 a Sino-Indian Cultural Exchange Meet from 3rd to 9th of December, 2016. With open arms the students of Grade VII and VIII, welcomed 15th students along with 3 accompanying teachers from Citic Lake Bilingual International School, Nanhai, Guangdong Province, P.R China.

Summer Camp JKP with South West Medical University, Sichuan, P.R.China

On 19th of July 2018, a twenty one member delegation (comprising of 20 students and 1 teacher) from South West Medical University (Luzhou), Sichuan ,P.R.China visited Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park, Sonarpur, Kolkata for summer camp.
